i am extremely impressed with the strength of the 190 CFM inline fan, it pulls in and blows out craaazy hard. to give you an idea, with it pulling air over a cool-tube 1000watt hps lamp, the air it puts it out would be strong enough and hot enough to dry wet hair 3 times better than a hair dryer, and its just as noisy as one. unfortunately, it still was NOT powerful enough to bring temps down to less than 95 degrees (ahh) in the space with the lamp (keep in mind it is 1000watts tho...that's a lot). it should do it for a 600watt or less. the carbon filter is, eh...sufficient. but hey, its less than half the price that you will be able to find nearly anywhere else, and it really does knock down the odor about 90%. only problem is THE SET DOESNT COME WITH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS wtf. but overall, great buy for the price.
